Chalet Hirondelle
Chalet L'Hirondelle is extremely comfortable and spacious. It is
situated in the peaceful village of Chandon, just five minutes from
Méribel centre, and thus ideally positioned to give you a relaxing,
rustic environment with all the advantages of a connection to anywhere
in the Three Valleys, and to the Méribel nightlife just minutes away.

The chalet, built in traditional Savoyard style in 2002, commands
excellent views over the surrounding valley. It has a large homely
living room on the first floor with open log fire and deep, comfortable
sofas. We have Sky TV with DVD and CD players and Wifi Internet Access.
Transport - our private minibus is available morning and afternoon to
drop you off and pick you up in Méribel centre or alternatively the
free ski bus stops approximately 50 metres from the chalet every 40
minutes throughout the day and evening. But for those that want to,
most of the season it is possible to ski back to our chalet.
Bedrooms
We have six bedrooms that sleep up to twelve guests. Each
bedroom can be either twin or double and has its own fully fitted
en-suite bathroom. Three of the bedrooms have balconies. All bedrooms
are well equipped with built-in wardrobes, king size duvets, cotton bed
linen, hairdryers and luxurious bath towels, which are changed mid
week.
There is a dry ski room with heated boot warmers. Sledges and bum
boards for those with enough energy after a days skiing.
Ski Hosting: if you would like to be shown around this vast area, we
would be delighted to accompany you on the mountain.
We operate a no smoking policy within the chalet.
The Food
For breakfast we provide freshly baked bread and croissants, in
addition to cereals, yoghurt, fresh fruit and cooked eggs.
Will await you on your return from the slopes, including tea, coffee,
hot chocolate and fresh homemade cakes and biscuits.
Dinner - Canapés are served around 7.30pm, followed by a four course
meal six nights a week.
We cater for all special dietary requirements (be sure to let us know
when booking), and children's tea should you wish them to eat
separately. We can also suggest and book a restaurant for you on the
staff night off.
Drinks - We offer complimentary tea and coffee throughout your stay as
well as complimentary wine. We also have a fully stocked honesty bar
available.
Chandon Village
Chandon is a delightfully unspoilt village, built on the side of the
valley which gets the sun from early morning to mid afternoon. It is
just five minutes drive from Méribel town centre and yet could be
worlds away, with listed barns, traditional bread oven and village
chapel. |
