Val d'Isere
This apartment is centrally located behind the Tourist Office in a
large and modern block of residences. Being on the second floor
(served by a lift) it has superb south facing views across the roofs
of Val d'Isere encompassing the whole area from Solaise to Bellevarde.
The decoration is largely of pine cladding and the furnishings were
new for the 2000 season. After a very severe snowstorm, the two
bedrooms have to be secured against avalanche damage by closing
avalanche protectors. This does occasionally happen and warning of
this requirement is given to all tenants.
