We are sure you will be delighted and pleasantly surprised by the
spacious and stunning location of our charming Ste Foy ski chalets. They
have been designed in a traditional Savoyard style, purpose built for
skiing with your comfort as a priority. They are well equipped with
plenty of bathrooms and hot water, boot heaters as standard and all
chosen for their ski-in location and short walking distance to the
restaurants, bars and shops. Chalet Alexandria is a fully catered ski
chalet.
Chalet Alexandria
Chalet Alexandria is our brand new, flagship chalet on 3 floors
covering over 150sqm. It boasts an enviable central location - only 80m
to the first lift, ski shop, restaurants and bar but also has great views
to the towering mountains beyond. The chalet has been delightfully
thought out with huge open living spaces and every modern convenience
including a Jacuzzi and heated boot room.
The living area boasts an enormous balcony with fantastic alpine views
that provide a superb backdrop for afternoon tea and dinner whilst the
abundant, comfortable seating around the log fire makes for delightful
evenings in and with plenty of the latest DVD's it means that everyone is
kept entertained.
Chalet Alexandria comfortably sleeps 8 with 2 twin rooms & 1
double room downstairs all with their own private doors onto the balcony-
so easy access to the Jacuzzi!! There is one ensuite shower, a separate
loo and another private bathroom. Upstairs is the master bedroom, which
not only has an ensuite bathroom but also boasts its own private balcony
with commanding, uninterrupted views across the slopes below.
Thanks to the owners interior design skills the chalet is finished to a
very high standard with comfort and convenience as a priority. It is
beautifully decorated in a traditional alpine style, which makes Chalet
Alexandria an enviable, alpine retreat.
The Food
We believe that quality catering is a crucial aspect of a ski chalet
holiday experience. That's why from start to finish, we aim to exceed
your expectations and cater for every individual requirement.
To start your day, you will be offered a hearty cooked breakfast of bacon
and eggs, freshly baked croissants and breads, a selection of jams,
cereals, yoghurts, fresh orange juice and a choice of teas or coffee. As
well as wakening the senses, this should keep you fully charged until
lunch.
You will be welcomed back to your chalet by the inviting aroma of freshly
baked cakes or cookies and your chalet host will have laid everything out
for tea - all you have to do is switch on the kettle!
And the best is yet to come! On your first evening you will be welcomed
with a glass of Kir Royale and mouth-watering canapés. Each night you
will enjoy a three course evening meal followed by a selection of local
cheeses or fruit and coffee with petit fours will be served in the
lounge. The meal is complemented by a selection of Savoyard wines chosen
by a local sommelier to ensure you receive the very best this region has
to offer.
Once a week, you will have the chance to sample the local cuisine when
your chalet host will have a well-deserved rest day. There are an amazing
variety of restaurants in the local area so just ask your chalet host for
some recommendations. You're in for a treat !
