Chalet Maya
The Chalet
Chalet Maya is brand new, constructed in 2006 in a traditional alpine
style with urban chic interior design. The chalet is located in one of
the sunniest parts of the Chamonix Valley, close to the largest ski area
- Les Grand Montets and providing a fabulous view of Mont Blanc from its
extensive balcony.
Other features include a large open plan living and dining area, outdoor
hot tub on the deck, childrens play area, flat screen TV/DVD, roaring log
fire and wireless internet access.
The chalet sleeps 10 guests in 5 bedrooms, all with luxury en-suite
bathrooms. These contemporary styled rooms come equipped with high
quality bed linen, fluffy towels, bathrobes and Molton Brown toiletries.
Guests will enjoy the famous Mountain Retreats service which includes
gourmet 4 course dinners, fine wines, complimentary bar at all times and
transport provided anywhere in the resort by the Mountain Retreats people
carrier throughout the day until midnight.
Chalet Maya is adjacent to our other new property Chalet Grassonets and
the two chalets can be booked together to accommodate 16 people.
The Food
The great advantage of a chalet holiday is that you have the comforts of
home and the service of a hotel. Each chalet has 3 permanent staff to
look after you and ensure you have a relaxing and enjoyable holiday.
We offer you a choice of a full English breakfast or continental if
preferred. On your return from the ski slopes, mulled wine, tea and cakes
are provided.
Dinner is a 4 course gourmet meal with drinks and canapés beforehand
and is followed by chocolates and coffee. Our emphasis is on high quality
ingredients, freshly prepared – taking the best from French and
British cuisine.
Our wines are French, selected with great care, always vintage, and often
discovered from surprising corners of France. We feel that good wine
represents a vital element of a great meal, and our wine has been chosen
with that in mind. |
