Chalet Alphouse - Chamonix
The Chalet
Chalet Alphouse was totally refurbished in 2002 to create a contemporary,
chic and highly comfortable feel. The chalet has handmade furnishings,
quality linen and furniture to match.
It is positioned in a quiet and beautiful part of Chamonix, in a
private road of detatched houses surrounded by their own gardens.
It is only a 5 minute walk into the cosmopolitan town of Chamonix
where you will find a wealth of shops, cafes and bars.
The Beds
The chalet has 4 luxurious bedrooms sleeping 8 and 3 bathrooms. We
have decent sized bath towels, Molton Brown toiletries and countless
other touches that create the Mountain Retreats experience. There is a
comfortable sitting room with an open fire and a dining area with
stunning views of Mont Blanc.
The Food
We offer you a choice of a full English breakfast or continental if
preferred. On your return from the ski slopes, mulled wine, tea and cakes
are provided.
Dinner is a 4 course gourmet meal with drinks and canapés beforehand
and is followed by chocolates and coffee. Our emphasis is on high quality
ingredients, freshly prepared – taking the best from French and
British cuisine.
Our wines are French, selected with great care, always vintage, and often
discovered from surprising corners of France. We feel that good wine
represents a vital element of a great meal, and our wine has been chosen
with that in mind.
Unlike other chalet holidays, we do not charge extra for any drinks that
you enjoy over and above those provided with your dinner. Please help
yourself whenever you feel like it to our selection of spirits, beers and
soft drinks. |
