Chalet Rasera - sleeps 16-20
The Rasera is genuinely one of the best places to stay in Morzine. It's
right in the centre of the town, yet on a quiet side street, set in a
large garden with plentiful car parking and garage. The Pleney slopes,
the French, International and British ski schools are all just a
snowball’s throw away, while the Super-Morzine lift (for piste access to
Avoriaz) is just 5 minutes' walk from the chalet. In good snow conditions
you can ski to within 50m of the chalet's door!
The chalet itself is spacious and welcoming, with a log fire as the
main feature of the living room, with comfy sofas and a large oak
dining table at which our guests sit down together for breakfast and
dinner. There's a TV and video, bar stereo CD player, and an honesty.
The BedroomsThe chalet sleeps up to 20 people:
Up the main staircase are:
2 triple bedrooms (double bed + single) with large balconies,
1 quad room (4 single beds) and a large bathroom with bath, shower
cubicle and separate WC.
The chalet entrance hall also opens onto 2 annexes. The lower annexe on
the ground floor has:
2 bedrooms (1 double, 1 twin, and a single in the hallway), sleeping up
to 5, with its own bathroom.
The upper annexe sleeps up to 6 in 3 bedrooms (1 double, 1 twin, and 1
mezzanine double), with its own bathroom. On the ground floor is an
additional shower room and WC.
All doubles/triples are large rooms and have their own sunny
balconies/terraces.
Chalet Rasera is ideal for group bookings, as witnessed by the many large
groups who return to us year on year. We run a “group pricing structure”
parallel to our individual rates, to enable big groups or those wanting
sole occupancy to benefit from price reductions and a free place. See the

The Food
Our catering is renowned for its quality, innovation and variety, with
menus drawn up from many years' experience of catering for all ages and
tastes.
Breakfast - masses of freshly cooked croissants and pain au
chocolate, porridge and cooked eggs every day. Choose from a cold
buffet with cereals, yoghurts, breads & spreads, fruit juices. We also
make Picnic Lunches on request.
Afternoon tea is a cake or cookies) made daily for you on your return from the slopes, along with tea, coffee and
ample French bread, jam and spreads. The Chalet Bar is available for you
to help yourselves to at any time – it’s stocked with a range of beers,
mixers, soft drinks and wines, all at reasonable prices.
Children’s Supper (for the 2 – 12’s) is served earlier than adults’
dinner, and is 2 courses (main course and pudding). Children’s meals are
carefully chosen to ensure that the children eat as well as the adults,
while getting a balanced, varied diet, and plenty of children’s
favourites! We are very flexible when it comes to children meals – just
let us kno and we will do the rest.
Adults dinner is the main event of the day – a delicious 3 (or sometimes
4) course feast complete with unlimited red or white wine, coffee and
petit fours. We like to serve you some local Savoyard specialities as
well as national French dishes, with international variations too.
We always offer plentiful and colourful salads and vegetable dishes to
accompany our meat, fish or chicken main courses, and desserts range from
fruit based tarts to naughty chocolate creations and favourite English
puddings! Once or twice a week there’ll be a cheese platter featuring
local cheeses, served with Port.
We are happy to cater for vegetarians and special diets – just let us
know on our booking form at the time of booking.
