The Chalet
Chalet Lou Bochons is a 200-year-old traditional Savoyard
farmhouse, sympathetically modernised with original stone & pine flooring
and oak beams to provide all the facilities you’d expect to make your
stay comfortable & relaxing.
Alongside is the downstairs lounge with its traditional log burning open
fire, reading nook, TV/Video, Stereo system and comfortable sofas.
The dining room has a huge oak 16-seat dining table.
The first floor lounge is an impressive 30ft long leading onto the
terrace

The Bedrooms - sleeping 10-12
5 large bedrooms & 4 large bathrooms
The beds are heavy wooden alpine style or wrought iron with Egyptian
cotton sheets and snugly duvets. Each bedroom also has its own CD player,
and all bathrooms have modern high quality fittings.
The first floor bedrooms can be flexibly arranged but are generally used
as:
Family room (sleeps 2-4) with en-suite bathroom
Double (sleeps 2) with en-suite bathroom
Twin / Double / Family (sleeps 5) with en-suite bathroom
Twin / Double / Family (sleeps 3) with shared bathroom
There is also an additional separate WC.
The second floor mezzanine bedroom (18ft x 12ft) has 3 single beds but is
spacious enough to also take an additional sofa bed.
In addition Lou Bochons also has available to all guests:
Ski-room which is kept securely locked from the outside.

Lou Bochons is strictly a ‘No Smoking’ chalet!
The Food
Our food is a combination of traditional French and also Italian fare,
supplemented by a few other tasty dishes from around the world (and we’re
not adverse to the occasional British pudding either!). We’re both big
‘foodies’ and will personally cook every meal for you ourselves.
Buying locally and supporting our neighbours is very important to us. We
endeavour to use ingredients from the region and recipes are often based
around seasonally available produce for extra freshness.
If you have a special dietary requirement or are celebrating a special
occasion, we would be delighted to organise special menus where possible.
Children will be fed separately at a mutually agreed time.
The wine we serve is specially selected from the wine merchant in Morzine,
and you can drink as much as you like with your evening meal. For those
that fancy a Grand Cru, something a little different, or even some
Champagne, we can supply this from our wine cellar at extra charge…. just
ask for our wine list when you arrive.
