The Chalet The ski chalet Chevenoz, built in 1866 has
been renovated for the owners friends and family. The portion rented is
the ground and first floors of some 265 sq m. The Chalet sleeps 12-18
people comfortably, and the dining room sits 24-28.
Chalet Chevenoz is located half way between the Lake Geneva and the
French Ski resort of Chatel, a quiet location with access to the biggest
Supermarket in the region (7km), the Ski Resorts of the Portes du Soleil
& local lower cost resorts PLUS the towns of Evian, Yvoire & Geneva for
the non-skiers.
Many visitors enjoy one or more visits to the Casino in Evian in the
evening, it is only 20 minutes drive away.
The Lounge is in two open plan sections and is 49 sq m and features an
Open Fire which heats most of the chalet. The other main public room is a
38.5 sq m 24-28 person dining room with one 7 meter table and matching
chairs.
Accommodation
This floor is the main bedroom area and is on the same level as the
barn/garage. It contains 5 of the 6 separate bedrooms, a bathroom/WC with
Jacuzzi bath and a shower/WC.
Though we have this number of sleeping places there are only 2 public
bathrooms and one en-suite bathroom, at this stage, so we suggest you do
not exceed 17-18 people.
Please look at how you would like to locate the people in the chalet
and let us know so we can provide the correct Duvets, Pillows and Linen
if you wish to pay for their hire & cleaning.
The standard bed layout is 6 twin rooms, 4 with double beds and 3 with
additional single folding beds. There are 2 double bed sofas in the
Lounge and a single in the first floor entrance
