Chalet Reposoir
THE CHALET'S SITUATION - quiet location, classic chalet, log fire.
Reposoir is a roomy chalet, a next door neighbour of chalet
Marmottons,
in the Brigues area of Courchevel 1550.
It is an imaginative design, split level to accommodate the slope of the
hill, and is full of interesting features. The dining area in particular,
uses the full height of the chalet and has lots of exposed wooden beams.
A large triangular window on one half of the gable wall, and French doors
allow lots of natural light to flood over the long dining table during
breakfast, whilst at dinner in the evening a very welcoming atmosphere is
created by the log fire, the soft lighting and the candles on the table.
This catered chalet is perfect for individuals or groups looking for a
charming and peaceful location with easy access to the slopes and all the
skiing and boarding of Courchevel and the Three Valleys. It is just a
short walk to the edge of a blue run in the morning, and the end of the
day it is normally possible to ski or board back within a few metres of
the front door.

Skiing from the Chalet
In the morning walk 60m up the road, put your skis on and ski 40m along a
narrow path through trees to the edge of the Dou du Midi piste. From
there it is a short ski or board to the first chairlift, or you can
traverse over towards the bubble lift which takes you directly into 1850.
At the end of the day reasonable skiers can ski back to the chalet.
Beginners get the bubble down from 1850 then jump on the free ski bus or
use our dedicated mini bus service. Alternatively they can walk from / to
the chalet (10 - 15 minutes).
