The Chalet
Situated in the Chatelard area of Val d'Isere, this ski chalet has
wonderful views toward the Bellevarde and Solaise mountains and up the
Manchet Valley.
Chalet Echo is ideal for groups who want a cosy and comfortable ski
chalet to relax in after a hard day on the slopes. It comprises,
5 bedrooms and 5 shower rooms (sleeping 10), an attractive open plan
kitchen, dining area and lounge with a log fire in the centre of the
room. There is a large terrace off the lounge - a wonderful suntrap in
the springtime.
Le Chatelard is serviced by a free shuttle bus which runs to and from the
edge of the nursery slopes from 9.30 am until 8.00 pm. If you want to
sample some of Val d'Isere's nightlife, then the centre of the town is
just 15 minutes walk or a very short taxi ride away.
In the morning a flattish walk of about 150 metres takes you to a gentle
downhill path which leads to the Solaise nursery slopes and main lifts.
To return to the chalet competent skiers can ski back to within about 100
meters of the chalet. Less competent skiers can traverse from the
top of the Rogoney nursery chair leaving them with approximately a 200
metre walk to the chalet. Alternatively, anyone can jump on the free
shuttle bus which connects Le Chatelard with the edge of the nursery
slopes.
