Chalet Chamois Chalet Chamois was completely renovated and
redecorated in 2006 and now offers four attractive en-suite bedrooms, and
a split level lounge and dining room.
It is in a great location at the edge of the blue Plan Bois piste and
there are wonderful views from the lounge towards the North and Mont
Blanc in the far distance. There is a raised deck at the rear of the
dining room - a real sun trap during the spring.
For 2007/2008, Chalet Chamois is one of three chalets that we are
offering for W/E and short breaks.

The Food
Breakfast is provided every morning and consists of tea, coffee, fruit
juice, porridge, muesli, cereal, yoghurts, various combinations of: eggs,
bacon, sausage, mushrooms, tomatoes, beans, etc., plus bread, jam and
honey.
Afternoon tea is prepared and left out for you to help yourself after
your skiing or snowboarding, and consists of tea, coffee, hot chocolate,
bread, jams, etc., plus homemade cake or biscuits or scones.
Dinner, normally served around eight o'clock, is a superb three course
meal plus cheese accompanied by good quality red and white wine with
coffee and tea to finish.
Skiing from the Chalet In the morning you can ski from the door
(snow conditions permitting) to the high speed Plan Bois chairlift which
is just 300 metres away, or carry on down the piste to the express
chairlift from Montchavin.
The Les Coches piste beside the chalet was until recently, graded as a
blue. It has now been reclassified as a red run, but anybody who has
skied or boarded for a couple of weeks should be able to get to the first
lift without any trouble.
A short ski from the top of the Plan Bois lift will take you to the
Vanoise Express cable car linking La Plagne with Les Arcs. alternatively
two more short charilifts take you to the Belle Plagne bowl and the rest
of the La Plagne skiing. At the end of the day, it is possible to ski
back to the door via a very attractive piste through the forest.
