The Chalet
Chalet Bivouac is ideally situated close to the village centre
(approx. 250 metres) and is adjacent to the Solaise nursery slopes, the
meeting point of the ski schools. If you so wish it is possible to ski
back virtually to the door.
This chalet is perfect for those looking for easy access to both the
skiing and the facilities of the village. It has the added bonus of being
in a peaceful location yet close to all the skiing and apres ski.
Wonderful easy access to the skiing. You are directly across the road
from the Solaise nursery slopes from where it is then possible to ski to
the major lifts that will whisk you up into the vast "Espace Killy". You
are no more than two minutes away from the meeting points of all the
major ski schools and at the end of the day it is possible to ski
virtually to the door.
The Beds
Chalet Bivouac has five en-suite bedrooms sleeping 10 (four twins,
one double). Three of the bedrooms have mezzanine floors which can be
used to increase capacity if required. It has a large comfortable lounge
and dining room with an open fire.

The Food
Breakfast is provided every morning and consists of tea, coffee, fruit
juice, porridge, muesli, cereal, yoghurts, various combinations of: eggs,
bacon, sausage, mushrooms, tomatoes, beans, etc., plus bread, jam and
honey.
Afternoon tea is prepared and left out for you to help yourself after
your skiing or snowboarding, and consists of tea, coffee, hot chocolate,
bread, jams, etc., plus homemade cake or biscuits or scones.
Dinner, normally served around eight o'clock, is a superb three course
meal plus cheese accompanied by good quality red and white wine with
coffee and tea to finish.
