Chalet Chovettaz
Chalet Chovettaz is a lovely new ski chalet, located in the
delightful ski resort and village of Contamines-Montjoie in the French
Alps. Lying under the imposing peaks of the Mont Blanc Massif, the
chalet offers delightful skiing holiday accommodation in this snow sure
ski resort. Excellent skiing and snowboarding conditions are maintained
throughout the long winter ski season, thanks to the excellent
infrastructure of a modern skiing resort.
The stylish lounge has a magnificent central open fire, sofas and
floor to ceiling picture windows offering access onto the sunny terrace
area. In one corner is a snug fireplace where you can quietly to
read a newspaper, magazine or book, and also play games.
The Beds
With six luxury en-suite bedrooms sleeping 13, the ski chalet offers the
flexibility to accommodate individuals, couples, families and groups.
The ski chalet offers family friendly skiing accommodation. A two
bedroom family suite can be arranged and our bedrooms are all large
enough to take extra beds if needed.
Each room has its own private sitting area – a great place to relax
in peace. Most of our rooms have balconies and stunning alpine views.
The Food at Chalet Chovettaz
All the meals at the ski chalet are produced by our chef, Gary, who
is inspired to create excellent cuisine using the finest, freshest
locally bought ingredients. Throughout your ski holiday the menu will
have a typically French flavour. Gary will always choose the best
ingredients, from the local markets, and creating meals to satisfy your
desire for good wholesome, nutritional food.
When you finish skiing head back to your ski accommodation for tea
where a selection of hot drinks and plates laden with cakes and
delicious freshly made confections will await you. We particularly
enjoy special occasions and are delighted to provide birthday or
anniversary cakes.
Guests will gather by the fire for a pre-dinner drink and canapés about
7.30pm. On six evenings a delicious four course dinner is served
accompanied by a selection of local cheeses and our specially chosen
house wines. We also have a supplementary wine list with some
outstanding wines and champagnes available for purchase.
With starry moonlit mountain views from the dining room, each
evening will be a true delight in the company of friends.
