The Chalet Chalet Flori was purchased by Challenge Activ
(Anna and Simon Allen) in 1993. It's a 100 year old, traditional Savoyard
farmhouse, and needed a complete renovation programme to convert it into
an all year round chalet for up to 25 guests.
We have a relaxing bar area and large lounge featuring an open log fire
as well as television and video/DVD.
The chalet has extensive facilities to cater for indoor and outdoor
activities. There is a sauna to help melt away any aches and pains and a
bar for the evenings.
The chalet minibus will take you to the piste of your choice each
morning and pick you up in the evening after skiing.
The Beds
The accommodation consists of 10 comfortable bedrooms many of
which have beautiful views over the valley of the Dranse river. These are
a mixture of double, twin and triple rooms. There are plenty of bathrooms
and showers to avoid waiting in the mornings!
The Food
We believe that the food in the chalet has to be good and plentiful and
half board is standard in the price, starting with a healthy breakfast to
get you going on the slopes.
After skiing, tea and cakes are served. (In the summer, after a days
biking a cool beer on the balcony is a favourite.)
Then comes dinner, a three course feast accompanied by plenty of wine!
After dinner Morzine offers a wide range of excellent bars and
night-spots, from warm and welcoming bars to night-clubs and discos.
Our aim is to make sure that your holiday is the way you want it. From
the beginning of the booking process your contact will be with either
Anna or Simon. We will answer any questions you may have.
Travel and other Services
If you are coming by plane we will meet you at the airport. The drive to
the chalet takes just over an hour and during this time we can update you
on the latest weather conditions and local events.
In the ski season we aim to complete the equipment hire on the day you
arrive if there is enough time. We will have lift passes waiting for
you and will help organise lessons if you have not booked them already. |
