Chalet Chintalaya is a lovely, privately-owned chalet located in
an enviable, riverside position in the heart of Chamonix and is close to
all the towns amenities, shops, bars and restaurants. The chalet is just
a 3 minute walk from the Aiguille de Midi cable car and to Europe's
highest point with spectacular views of the Mont Blanc massif.
As well as having the advantage of being central, Chintalaya is
nestled in a peaceful spot next to the River L'Arve and set in a stunning
back drop of mountain scenery.
'Chintalaya', the ancient Sanskrit word meaning 'place for thoughts' has
recently been refurbished and offers a contemporary yet homely feel
making for a relaxed stay. We hope to be able to welcome you to 'your
home away from home!'

A TYPICAL DAY
A typical day at Chalet Chintalaya starts with a cup of tea in bed before
breakfast. After a fun day out on the slopes come home to a roaring log
fire with hot drinks and home-baked cakes and cookies.
Relax later with an aperitif before enjoying a delicious three-course
evening meal around a large farmhouse table with quality wines before
ending the evening with coffee and chocolates in our cosy lounge.
Mix all this with our relaxed, friendly service and you have a flavour of
your home away from home!
