Chalet Margaux Chalet Margaux nestles snugly on the side of the
mountain, just a few minutes to the piste at Meribel 1600 – Les Rond
Point des Piste with spectacular views along the Meribel Valley.
The living area is spacious bright and tastefully decorated, with large
comfy sofas. The log burning fire adds warmth, whereas the huge windows
are designed to make the most of the stunning views giving an incredible
sense of space.
In the lounge is a large plasma screen with SKY TV, a DVD player and
surround sound. The dinning area has sliding doors to a large sun
terrace, where you can enjoy a drink on the balcony.
The bedrooms are of a modern design with one thing in mind - a great
night's sleep for our guests. Chalet Margaux will sleep ten adults,
with the availability of extra adults or children up to thirteen in
total.
Each room has everything you'd expect and more – duck down duvets,
cotton linen, two pillows per person, dressing gowns, hairdryers and
comprehensive modern en-suite facilities.
The two double bedded rooms that are able to take extra beds each have
two hand-basins, a bath and additional walk in shower and separate WC,
easing the accommodation of the additional persons if occupying those
extra beds.
The further three twin bedrooms have a modern walk in shower, basin
and separate WC. All bathrooms have thick fluffy towels, heated towel
rails and of course plenty of hot water.
The luxury does not stop there the chalet even has a steam room and a
sauna, the large terrace outside this spa area boasts a large outdoor
Jacuzzi hot-tub. The spa area in this chalet will become an essential
part of the relaxation at the end of the day.
The hot-tub has breath taking views of the valley and in the evening
although subtly lit, you can enjoy sitting under the dark sky with the
stars shinning brightly above you.
The Food
At Chalet Margaux we aim to make your holiday a gastronomic delight!
Start the day with a delicious and traditionally cooked breakfast, with
other cooked variations including smoked salmon with scrambled eggs.
Cereals, fruit and yoghurts are also available, as well as fresh
croissants with fresh coffee and juices.
On your return from the slopes you can look forward to home-made cakes or
biscuits, hot-chocolate, tea and coffee for self serve.
Later, feeling relaxed and refreshed, you can enjoy an aperitif and a
selection of canapés, by the log fire before moving into the open plan
dining room for your gourmet evening meal cooked by your host and Chef.
Enjoy three superb courses accompanied by a choice of carefully selected
fine wines. Follow this with good port and a great selection of local and
popular cheeses. Retiring to the lounge with a local digestif, fresh
coffee & chocolates will end your day in a perfect way.
Children's dinner
For the comfort of all guests we will serve a high-tea for children under
the age of 12 at 6pm if you so wish.

The evening meal is served six-nights of the week, the chalet hosts have
a day and night off, giving you the opportunity to sample one of the
superb local restaurants, we will be happy to recommend and book for you.
