Lying just to the east of les Arcs at the start of the Isere
Valley in Savoie, is the small, sleepy Savoyarde village of Villaroger, quite
unspoilt, across the valley from Sainte Foy. It is the most easterly
satellite village of the vast Paradiski domain taking in les Arcs and
la Plagne.
The French Railways ski train from Waterloo (UK) runs Friday nights to
Bourg St Maurice arriving around 0830 on the Saturday morning, leaving a
15 minute drive to Villaroger. With the return train leaving on Saturday
evenings this gives a full seven days skiing in all les Arcs and Isere
Valley ski resorts for one week skiers.
